Worst entry in the franchise, but...
by Ozma -
Despite taking place in the Bubblegum Crisis universe, it has no direct connections to either the original series or the reboot continuity, so it just sort of exists in it's own weird, badly animated little world. The most farcical part of this show is the fact that its creators supposedly wanted to make a version of A.D. Police that "surpassed the original". Needless to say that it doesn't come anywhere near to surpassing the original A.D. Police Files, or Parasite Dolls for that matter.
The translation work on this release is fine, the English dub does nothing to improve the show's tolerability, and for some reason the whole thing is presented in widescreen, even though the series was originally broadcast in 4:3.
If you're a Bubblegum Crisis completionist like me, or you're just looking for a lame cyberpunk anime from the tail-end of the 90's to kill time with, pick this up when it's on sale, otherwise stay away.
