I absolutely LOVE this series!!! It's Hilarious and the characters are all so lovable! I guarantee that you'll gradually become more and more infatuated by the cast of characters that we're given. Each have their own unique and likable personality and quirk. I really enjoy this series and am looking forward to all future volumes as I will always find myself laughing and crying from start to finish. My day always gets better reading this series and I hope yours will too. Enjoy!
A fun read!

This series is really silly and cute, and it always leaves a smile on my face after reading it! The cast is likable and the humor's pretty funny.
I also LOVE the translation notes in this series, especially in this first volume. It takes a few pages to explain not only what the different types of yokai that show up are, but also several puns (for example, clothing designs) that make sense in Japanese but would be lost on Western readers. It's really nice they took the extra effort to make sure we could get the jokes too!
Moral: If you meet a god of bad luck, DO NOT taunt them

The world's biggest coward unknowingly accepts a job at a school for monsters. Did you like Doki Doki School Hours? Similar, but less G rated. This is still ALMOST completely clean in art. (One picture of a Tanuki showing their less savory side.) There's some less than clean humor in the text. Do you like Yokai Cats? Like that series, this series slowly introduces different yokai. Great for fans of school comedy, for fans of yokai and for fans of slapstick.
Note, read the inside covers AFTER the rest of the manga, not before. It contains story that takes place after the events of manga 1. Near the end there's notes to explain gags and references you might not get. Another series that needs an anime eventually.
As of volume 1, light-hearted comedy, no serious drama.
