Ratings & Reviews
Best Animated Film
by Christopher -
This is the best animated film I have seen, right after I finished the film I rewatched it. I have an extensive list of animated films I bought from Shout Factory, GKids, Studio Ghibli, Funimation and others, some of the films I really did enjoy watching but this film feels like it belongs in its own category. The characters in the film are very realistic who learn the consequences of their selfish actions when they were kids. The dubbed voice for Shoko, is voiced by a deaf voice actress who nailed the part perfectly.
Not many animated films lasts over 2 hours but it feels so short for this film. I watched this film with my 6 year old niece who really liked it. For anyone that likes the film I highly recommend reading the manga after, so much stuff what is going on in the film would be missed.
“A Silent Voice” would be the top movie I would recommend for most people that like animated films. I would gladly purchase the Limited Edition for any additional features for this anime.
Just please watch it

Just such a damn great important movie that changed my life, even if in not the biggest way, but for some people it probably definitely has had a big effect on them.
A must buy for any A Silent Voice (Koe No Katachi) fan or anime collector!

If you are a die hard fan or anime collector, then this limited edition is a must buy! If you are someone looking casually into A Silent Voice then the Blu-ray disc version would be the way to go.
A Silent Voice Limited Edition Blu-Ray comes in a nice white box that has a nice high quality texture feel to it. The outside artwork for the front & back is beautifully done, as you can hover your fingers and feel layers of texture on the artwork itself! The blu-ray disc case has our two main characters for a touching cover art, a great choice that only adds a emotional layer to any die hard fan that knows the development of these characters throughout the film. A beautiful set of art cards showcasing some of the most memorable moments. A very nice small hand size art book that contains various nice details about the film. Various video & audio bonus content such as interviews & commentaries. To sum up the film itself in a couples word, powerful, emotional, redemption, touching.
Get This in Front of Your Eyeballs as Soon as Possible!!

Hands down, this is one of the best films I have ever seen, across any medium. I enjoyed it so much, I bought it twice (the standard release and the Limited Edition a short time late).
The Limited Edition comes with some excellent goodies, and they are all high quality. The art cards are gorgeous. The art book--amazing. No expense was spared when crafting this edition. The box that houses everything is beautiful and sturdy.
If the price tag for the limited edition seems too steep, go for the standard edition of the film. I mean it. It is well worth the watch. And, if you are impressed with the quality of the film, I highly recommend that you give the manga a go as well. Long story short, experience this remarkable story in any way you can. You will not regret it.

An amazing movie that tells a beautiful story about bullying, it is very heartfelt and with the extra goodies that come with this package, it is definitely worth the price.

This movie is touching on so many levels and is overall great. The blu ray boxset is really nice and minimalistic with subtle designs throughout, but I think it's very beautifully done. Price wise is it on the more expensive side for a film and I wholeheartedly recommend it for the most hardcore of collectors out there because this is a film that deserves to be watched time and time again.
Worth the price

A deaf girl named Shouko transfers to a new school where her welcome is short-lived. Male lead Shoya seeks approval by ruthlessly bullying her.
An increasingly isolated and angry Shoya continues to torment his victim, who despite it all is trying to protect him from his peers when a confrontation devolves into a physical fight causing two lives to be essentially ruined.
Shouko transfers out of school and Shoya is now the sole target of his peers - Not for tormenting a young deaf girl, but rather for the sin of turning on them when the adults finally intervened.
Years later a repentant Shoya goes to return Shouko's notebook. Her reaction causes him to change his plans, and start looking for a way to repair *something* he instinctively knows is terribly wrong with himself. The two grapple with the wreckage their lives had become as penultimately, one is able to limp along toward a future while the other is unable to. Only serendipity allows both to realize what really matters.
My Absolute Favorite Movie
This movie was an absolute masterpiece. It brought many modern day problems to light, had amazing storytelling, music, and cinematography. The majority of the characters in this film were likeable and relatable. After watching this film a couple of times by myself I tried as hard as I possibly could to share it with other people who had not yet had the chance to experience this movie. Overall I absolutely loved this movie and would recommend it to anyone who has a love for animated films.
A must have

Honestly if you liked the A Silent Voice manga then you've probably seen the movie. This is a series that I have recommended to everyone and even had family watch it with me (who enjoyed it none the less). Seeing the realness of human emotions, as well as issued such as anxiety and depression. I don't think there's a series that's done better.
The limited edition came with such wonderful art cards as well as the stunning box with once of a kind art! Not to mention that you can get it for a reasonable price!
