Part 2 of the Powerful Manga! 😎
by Anime-Aint-Kid Stuf
In part 2, things spiral further out of hand for our troubled cast. Again, I could relate with Shoya and Shoko both very much.
As someone who was picked on quite a bit for eccentric behavior stemming from severe OCD, I could relate with Shoya a lot. (Being introverted, and on the spectrum didn't help things much either.)
Shoya shows us that it's never too late to find redemption and correct the past. (It's why I admire Norway's TREATMENT based prison system.)
Sadly, so many will not be prepared to admit the moments when we act like Shoya. Reading this manga made me reflect on the uncomfortable times when I was not at my "best' behavior with those around me. In real life, the "bully" and "bullied" often switch places, with no clear "good guy" or "bad guy."
This is an INCREDIBLE manga, which really benefits with a hardcover and glossy pages.
