A Continuation of Great Work

by -

What a great read! The second volume serves as a sort of prequel to the ending of the first volume. It was not what I was expecting, as I was anticipating a direct continuation of the final events from volume one, but I ended up really liking the route the author chose to take. Its more story focused on Shin and his point of view of things after he left the Republic. There are introductions of new characters, and the way each of them are introduced and developed are done very well. There is also more spotlight on the development of the Spearhead Squadron, which makes me love them even more. The pacing and storytelling is done in a way that always keeps the reader engaged and guessing what's gonna happen next. It pulled me in within the first few pages, which led to me reading on for hours. Also, the ending will lead to you wanting volume three immediately. If you enjoyed the first volume, then you will definitely enjoy this one.
