$1 Manga Blind Box

The manga I got with this one was Flesh for the Beast!
it is based on the hit cult film so it was a movie before a manga.
also it says the book reads from left to right & right to left so i'm gonna love to see how they pulled that one off.

I ordered 5 of these, so, 5 for $5. While I didn't expect high quality, I was disappointed to find that only 1 out of 5 volumes I received was a manga originally from Japan. The rest were left-to-right manga style comics from other countries. While technically it can be considered manga as long as it's in manga-style, it wasn't really what I wanted. Also only 1 out of 5 was a volume 1. Still interesting and fun to try.

i think i bought a few of these, not exactly sure how many though. i think every one of the manga i bought were volume 1, so that was great! i have read a few of them and so far i love them :)

So, I got two of these, knowing that there is chance for copy of the same product. Well, I got two different books at the same time. Luuna which does not lay flat (but I blaming that on how it was packaged) is a very interesting story involving one's personal balance and is a first volume (issue?) originally printed by Tokyopop. Now, the second one is the very opposite of Luuna while featuring a more American (Western) style of comics, Twin Signal, is the opposite. It is small with the setup like most manga's that one would expect. I feel that there is an action/comedy setup with it.

With that in mind, if either one of them is used, then they are in very condition and still readable. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone who looking to be surprised by something new (or some cases new to them), especially if you want over a dollar's worth of manga, but do mind the product description through.

I bought around 100 of these and was pretty happy with the assortment. The large majority were Tokyo Pop, just FYI. Many had some minor damage, very minor. Only 2 had anything worse than a scratch. 2 were also sealed in shrinkwrap and perfect, so the condition can really vary. The value is great if you're not too picky. I would buy more.

Ive Purchased 2 & mostly $5 Blind boxes you either get lucky or you get something New to read either way its a Win Win to me Ive gotten Elemet Line vol 1 and Castlevania: Curse of the Darkness vol 1 which Ive heard its pretty good and for $1 it’s fantastic I’m not lossing anything on trying so I’m keep trying my luck to see what other goodies I get.

I watched some Youtube box openings before ordering to see what it was might be included. I wasn't disappointed after I ordered my own.
Not bad for the price. I ordered a large quantity of them for me and a friend to pick through and didn't get any duplicates. There were a few titles I've heard of before, most I haven't. I ended up getting a lot of vol. 1s, so that was cool, great way to start off a series you might enjoy.
One thing I didn't care much for was I got 3-4 volumes that were western style manga, so left to right. Also almost all the volumes I received were TokyoPop.
Overall, not a bad deal, essentially get a $10 volume for $1.

I wasn't too sure whether or not to buy this since many of the $1 blind boxes are manga I haven't even hear of, but I wanted to expand my manga collection so I bought one before and two recently

Volume 5 of a Tokyopop series. It's in nice condition, but I don't follow the series and likely never will... Cause Tokyopop. This was a nice way to reach free shipping though.

I wasn't expecting anything much with this so imagine my surprise when I opened my order and I saw that I've received the sixth volume of Your Lie in April, a series I was already interested in buying.

I'll most likely be buying another $1 blind box with another order.

Although I don't mind paying for shipping costs, the reason why I got this mystery manga was because I wanted to try a series out of my comfort zone from the usual bizarre adventure of the Joestars and hopefully land into something just as amazingly awesome and hilariously stupid at the same time. And so I did! It was pretty enjoyable!
Although I enjoyed the manga I received, I wish there would've been an option to choose what kind of manga such as action, comedy, or maybe even ecchi if wanted. The other thing about the manga I received was that instead of it being the first volume, it ended up being the 3rd book which kinda made me confused about the story. I feel like it would be appropriate for those who purchase the manga blind box, to receive the first book of the series, instead of the books later on.
But other than that, I can guarantee that i'll have more on my next order!

i got 2 of these and i got vol 1 of a tokyopop series which is good but then i got a horror manga which is not good. but what do you expect for a blind box

I just got 3 of the $1 manga boxes and im pretty impressed. The 3 mangas I got was volume 1,Volume 12,and Volume 10 of 3 different manga titles. I am happy and satisfied with my purchase from Right Stuf Anime and im looking forward to purchasing more things here soon! I didnt dislike anything about this box other than the other 2 mangas not being volume 1...But other than that this is perfect!

Going in you need to understand that this is a BLIND BOX. There is a very good chance you're going to get some repeats, random volumes, or just something you aren't interested in. That said, I'm overall pretty happy with what I got. Keep your expectations a little low and there's a chance you'll wind up happily surprised.

I actually really like this Manga Blind Box because it’s very cheap and the books can sometimes be very good. Generally they come in very good condition and sometimes you can hit a Jackpot. But also note if you buy these in bulk you will get duplicates. Also some of the manga is not in traditional form which kind of sucks but it is still good quality overall

I find this to be a great way to try out new genres and authors. It's a blind box so it's a gamble if it's something you are interested in, but that's also part of the fun. You might end up with duplicates if you order a lot though.

I ordered three sets at different times so I'm just going to review them all at once. The first order was for about 5 or 6 manga and the other two were around 14 each. The first order didn't have any doubles but the other orders came with a few duplicates. I ordered these within about a 5 month span and unfortunately did have a lot of duplicates between orders (maybe about 1/3... sorry I didn't count how many).

There was a good variety of genres. Luckily there were a decent amount of volume 1s and some stand alone manga, but the rest were random volumes. Even with all the duplicates I think what I received was a great deal! Thanks Right Stuf!!

Great deal bought 5 and I got 4 corresponding volumes in a series. The value was way more than price I paid for the 5 I bought.

Sometimes it's cool, other times you get the exact same manga as the last time you ordered.. My advice, buy in anything but sets of 3.

I got random volumes for akame ga kill and the seven deadly sins. They came in perfect condition! I don’t mind the random volumes as I’ve seen the anime for both. Overall I was super happy, it made my day!

It is amazing for the price! It can really help if you want to grow your collection. I got a random manga but I enjoy it.

Received Blade of the Immortal omnibus 1 (going for $18.74 right now) which seems to be a 'bargain bin' item (totally worth it still, the damage was super minimal) and The Devil is a Part-Timer Novel Volume 5 (going for $9.97 with member pricing) which seems to be in new condition with very minor damage (I would consider this acceptable if I paid even full price). So I got (even with member discounts) $28.71USD worth of items for $2USD... I know my results aren't guaranteed but I definitely lucked out! For $1, you really can't go wrong. I hope this comes back in stock soon because it's a great value and has introduced me to a series I didn't even know existed (Blade of the Immortal is rated highly but I have never heard of it).

I bought 15 of these and I actually got some good series like Attack on Titan, Haikyu, The Flowers of Evil Complete, Maid-Sama, and Bungo Stray Dogs as well as other lesser-known series. Only two of the volumes had damage and it was very minimal. None of the volumes I got were the first in a series, they were all random, but I have been thinking of collecting some of them so I don't mind!! I didn't get any duplicates.
For me it was definitely worth the gamble and I will buy these again.

Pretty decent box! I didn't receive any manga that I have heard of but I don't mind that I'm always looking for new things to read. I ordered 6 of these and sadly ended up getting a duplicate but I did get all of the first edition which I thought was pretty nice! The packaging was also really good and all of the manga came in perfect condition! Definitely recommend if you want to try something new!
