Nice packaging, scarce extras

by

Pros: The LE set comes packaged with a golden booklet, postcards, and a soundtrack CD (45 tracks), and all that is in a glittery artbox.Cons: Some of the artwork is overused way too much here. Why do Blu-ray menus always have to be so small? I know that Blu-rays are best played on large HDTVs, but I only have a 4:3 CRT television, and I can hardly read the menus. The booklet is softcover, which isn't immediately a bad thing; the cover has a nice sheen to it. This also makes it easily damageable. The on-disc extras are quite scant. There are 4 Monogotatari Collab videos, as well as the original trailers for the movie and the opening animation and the credits sequence presented textless. But that's it. Even some commercials for other Aniplex releases would have been welcome here. Also, why give us postcards? Who is going to send the postcards away? Why not give us art cards instead? Also, even when everything is inside the box, it’s too loose. Overall, recommended to fellow Madoka fans.

Great product

As the previous reviewer stated, there isn't much here in the area of extras. This makes the price a bit much for what you get, but at the same time these items are limited edition and if you love Madoka like I do, then it's worth it. The quality of the audio is great and the animation is much better than the series, which is saying a lot because the series was good quality as is. I would overall recommend this to the die-hard Madoka fans, but if you just want the DVD, simply buy the single Blu-ray.

Great Product!!!

As usual you get a deluxe package from Aniplex, but slightly different. The box case is more like plastic and has all this glitter that doesn't come out in the photos provided

The box set comes packaged in a higher grade thick plastic wrap than usual, and it can be taken off without breaking it since its folded and held at the back by a piece of sticky tape. If you are one who doesn't care for it then rip it apart any way you like :)

Also,

The set comes with a very nice booklet. However, don't read the introduction before watching the movie as it spoils the first 40 minutes. There are only a few pages of art gallery, and the rest of the booklet contains these arty/poetic descriptions of characters in the nightmare/witches world.

In the end this is a great purchase for any Madoka Magica fan ;)

Great product! slow delivery

This excels my expectation of what I'll get for $70 USD and I can say that I'm very thankful of the product that I get.

The film is one of the best things that humanity can get and I love it, I wont make spoilers; it has the OST and a DVD and BD with the movie, the PS3 console can read it with out problems.

The only thing I didn't like was the shipping time: 47 days FROM the ESTIMATED delivery time, 63 days in total I think this was problem of Mexican post service but Ascendia was the one who gave the package to them so is not fall of rightstuffanime, I think.

Glitter Box for the Win!

This movie is so amazing that it has to be owned. Now whether or not the Limited Edition should be owned is up to you. To me it was a must as it not only comes with both the Blu Ray and DVD but also includes a small pamplet on the movie and characters and the CD. The box is really nice and sturdy (plus it is glittery :D ). It is also easy to get the materials out of the box. The only downside I see to this release is that there is not a lot of extras. Besides that it is totally worth the buy!

A High Quality Release Worth the Premium Price Tag

As there is a character cap on these reviews, this will not be a review of the movie but instead of the edition itself. If you're coming in blind, know that Rebellion is a love-it-or-hate-it affair. I'd recommend checking out a review for it if you're unsure whether to buy it.

This edition comes in a box with a great plastic coating on it and a well-done glitter effect, both of which make the box feel high quality. This is complemented by the nice artwork on the box. Inside you get a nice art booklet that I wish was longer (I'd be amiss not to mention that it has some really cool Inu Curry art) and 2 postcards with the movie posters on them, which are sadly wrapped together. The disc cases are the high quality non-bendy Blu-ray cases, and their spines look great in the box.

Bottom line: this is a high quality release that is much more satisfying than the standard edition. If you like the movie, you'll love this edition. Also, Rebellion looks phenomenally better on blu-ray.

Magical

The third installment of the Madoka franchise is a must have for all magical girl fans. This set is a really beautiful shelf piece that all fans of this show should buy. The glitter finish on the box and inclusion of the soundtrack is a really nice touch.

Higher expectation for the such a price

Movie is great on bluray and the only reason to buy the limited edition was mainly for the CD (the packaging was nice too). However, I was very disappointed to see that the opening and end songs are not subtitle/translated in English when they really support the story of movie.

Dreamville

Loved everything about what I bought besides they need to make the Art box hard boxes and not flimsy plastic but never the less it's all good and the best part was the soundtrack. They should release their Limited Edition products with soundtrack CDs I'd probably would buy more from this site if they did :)
