Universal Century 0083. Having triumphed in the One-Year War, the Earth Federation has grown complacent, while the last remnants of Zeon forces have been planning one final stand. It all hinges on ace Zeon pilot Anavel Gato stealing one of the new prototype Gundams out from under the Federation's nose. With a nuclear-equipped Gundam missing and their pride wounded, the Federation ship Albion and rookie pilot Kou Uraki set out in pursuit of the Zeon thieves and the stolen Gundam GP02A.

Ratings & Reviews
An Interquel set between the Original 0079 Gundam series and it's direct sequel, Zeta Gundam. 0083 tells the story of the infamous "Operation Stardust" and the Titans rise to power. Not only does this series have solid writing, engaging and relatable characters but it also features some of the best mecha designs of any Gundam series. It also draws a lot of inspiration from and is clearly influenced by the hit 80's movie Top Gun. Seriously! watch the opening animation to each episode on mute and play "highway to the Danger zone" it matches the animation in feel and emotion brilliantly and that's only one example. This series has everything that made you fall in love with the Universal century Gundam Timeline and none of the drawbacks of the later series (i.e. the overpoweredness of Newtype pilots). From it's core story, to it's well animated fight scenes this Gundam series is thrilling to watch and entertaining the whole way through.
Gundam 0083 after the One Year War
by Steven Sturgill
I like Gundam 0083 because it continues after the One Year War after Zeon. It happen about 3 years after the One Year Wars. The Earth Federation has build two new Gundams called RX-78GP01 Gundam GP01 and RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A armor with a (Nuclear warhead). Then Zeon takes the Gundam for there own use. It a great Gundam series.
